Windows XP Upgrade - Online Course

This series provides an overview of the features available in Windows XP Home Edition and Windows XP Professional. Users will be introduced to the new interface of Windows XP, the multimedia and reliability features of the Home Edition, and the advanced networking and system administration functions of the Professional version.

Lesson 1: Home Edition (3.0) hours

Home Edition teaches you how to use the Windows XP interface, use the multimedia tools shipped with Windows XP, set up a home network, and explain some reliability features of Windows XP. This course provides an overview of the features available in the Home Edition version of Windows XP. Topics include The New Interface, Using Multimedia, Home Networking, and Improving Reliability.

Lesson 2: Professional (3.0) hours

Professional teaches you how to explain Windows XP networking capabilities, use Windows XP management tools, list security features of Windows XP, and explain the mobile computing capabilities of Windows XP. This course provides an overview of the features available in the Professional version of Windows XP. Topics include The Network Environment, Managing Your System, Securing Your System, and Using Mobile Computers.
