Windows Vista Upgrade - Online Course

This course provides an introduction to the new features and applications in the various editions of Windows Vista. You will learn about new digital media, security, networking, and personal productivity applications. Topics include Windows Vista Editions, Digital Media, Security, Backup, and Performance, and Applications and Technologies.

Lesson 3: Planning a Corporate Deployment (1.0) hour

Planning a Corporate Deployment teaches you how to describe organizational needs assessments to conduct prior to a Windows Vista deployment, list the features of Windows Vista that help organizations meet their assessed organizational needs, identify the hardware requirements for operating Windows Vista at two levels of performance, describe various tools that assist organizations to identify and mitigate application compatibility issues, explain the basic elements of a deployment plan, and explain the phases of a Windows Vista rollout. This course provides an overview of the process for planning a Windows Vista deployment in a corporate environment. You will also learn about Windows Vista-related hardware requirements, software compatibiltiy issues, and organizational needs assessment.
