Microsoft SQL Server 6.5 Admin, Config, Install - Online Course

Lesson 1: Introduction (9.0) hours

Lesson 2: Installation and Setup (5.0) hours

Installation and Setup teaches you how to identifiy system administrator functionality, configure Microsoft Windows NT for SQL Server installation, configure SQL Executive to log on as a service, load multiple Net-Libraries, upgrade SQL Server 4.2x to SQL Server 6.5, and create a device. This course provides instructions for installing Microsoft SQL Server 6.5 and setting up physical and mirror devices. Lesson 3: Users and Replication (9.0) hours

Lesson 6: Tuning for Performance (7.0) hours

Tuning for Performance teaches you how to select the appropriate settings for locks, configure the number of worker threads, select the appropriate settings for read ahead, identify the benefits of installing the tempdb database in RAM, and tune and monitor memory use. This course provides instruction on tuning Microsoft SQL Server 6.5 to optimize performance.
