Lesson 1: DHTML and Style Sheets (4.0) hours

DHTML and Style Sheets teaches you how to explain the basic concepts of Dynamic HTML, use Cascading Style Sheets, and define Style Sheet properties. This course introduces users to Dynamic HTML and shows students how to use style sheets to define the format of Web pages. Lesson 2: Using Javascript (2.0) hours

Using Javascript teaches you how to create a basic JavaScript, use JavaScript expressions and variables, use JavaScript functions and flow control, and use JavaScript objects and arrays. This course shows users how to use JavaScript for work with Dynamic HTML. Topics include Introduction to JavaScript, Data, Expressions, and Variables, Functions and Flow Control, Objects and Arrays, and Putting JavaScript to Work.

Lesson 3: Objects and Events (3.0) hours

Objects and Events teaches you how to explain the Dynamic HTML object model, discuss objects, collections, and elements, use common objects, define and describe events, and create pages to look for and respond to events. This course explains the Dynamic HTML object model and how objects and events are used to interact with users. Topics include The Dynamic HTML Object Model, Collections and Elements, The window Object, Events, Event Handling, The window.event Object, and More Event Handling.

Lesson 4: Styles and Content (5.0) hours

Styles and Content teaches you how to change font attributes, show and hide elements of a page, position style sheets, set position properties, use layers, and create dynamic content. This course introduces students to style sheets and content formatting. Topics include Dynamic Styles, Hiding and Showing Elements, Positioning Style Sheets, Using the Position Property, Positioning Properties, Layers, Moving Elements, Dynamic Content, and The Object Model and Dynamic Content.

Lesson 5: Data From Other Sources (4.0) hours

Data From Other Sources teaches you how to explain the differences between server-side and client-side data binding, describe Data Source Objects and their applications, describe the Tabular Data Control (TDC) Data Source Object, create a text data file for use by the TDC, bind the data in the file to a Web page using both single-value and set binding, and navigate and sort the data using the TDC's properties and methods. This course introduces users to binding data from other sources to Web pages using DHTML and Data Source Objects. The course focuses on the Tabular Data Control, which dynamically displays data from text files. Topics include Introduction to Data Binding, DHTML Client-Side Data Binding, Using Data Consumers, Data Source Objects, Using the TDC, and Managing the TDC.
