Business Ethics - Online Course

The Business Ethics series provides a common sense, practical approach to doing good work, emphasizing the need for people to prepare in advance for ethical dilemmas. After taking this course, learners will understand the need for a practical approach to business ethics and how to develop their own personal ethical perspectives. Topics include The need for practical business ethics, An ethical dilemma, The Golden Rule, The Public Disclosure test, and The Universalization test.

Lesson 3: Ethical Dilemmas and the Law (1.0) hour

Ethical Dilemmas and the Law teaches you how to research legal issues on the Internet, and locate legislative statutes, executive orders, court rulings, and administrative regulations. This course features practical instruction for searching the Internet for legal information relevant to business ethics. Topics include Locating Relevant Laws on the Internet, and Sophisticated Searches for the Law.

Lesson 4: Individual Values; Organizational Values (2.0) hours

Individual Values; Organizational Values teaches you how to identify your personal values, establish your personal value priorities, determine how your personal values interact with your professional values, and identify your moral principles. This course focuses on helping learners set and use personal value priorities in their daily lives. Topics include Your Personal Value Priorities, Individual and Organizational Values, and Moral Principles.
