Lesson 2: Understanding Behavioral Intentions (2.0) hours
Understanding Behavioral Intentions teaches you how to describe the four general intents that determine how people respond in situations, identify ten general types of troublesome behavior, and build relationships with individuals who display the ten general types of troublesome behavior. This course will help you identify behavioral intents and troublesome behaviors. It also offers techniques that you can use to build relationships with a variety of people. Topics include What are the four intents, The first intent, The second intent, The third intent, The fourth intent, and Recognizing the results.
Lesson 3: Choosing Your Approach (1.0) hour
Choosing Your Approach teaches you how to identify the four choices you can make when dealing with problem people, use blending and redirecting to reduce differences between people, identify and practice the five steps to good listening, and identify five techniques that have a positive influence on relationships. This course focuses on dealing with tough behaviors by using skillful communication. It also teaches you effective listening skills. Topics include Four choices, Reduce differences, Listen to understand, Reach a deeper understanding, and Speak to be understood.
