Navigating the Courseware
Course Navigation Bar
Use the course navigation bar at the bottom of each page to navigate in a course.
- Exit closes the course and marks your current page.
- Print allows you to print the current course page.
- Tools accesses a list of course topics and other course features.
- Help displays help on using the course.
- The back button goes to the previous page.
- The forward button goes to the next page.
Tools Page
Press T or click the Tools button to view the Tools page, which allows you to access the following course features.

View information about the course and its unique features. |

View the topics available in the course. |

View the glossary. |

Skill Assessment |
Answer questions, chosen at random, about all the topics covered in the course. |

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) |
View information about obtaining Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for a course. CEUs are a nationally recognized measure of completion of non-credit professional development learning activities. |

Scores |
View your scores for the course and Skill Assessment. |
|
Evaluate This Course |
View the course evaluation form. We'd like to hear your opinion about our courses. |
|
Master Topics |
View the topics for all courses available to you. |
|
Search |
Search for a particular word or phrase in all available courses. |
Course Location
Use the following features to determine your location:
- The course title is shown at the top.
- The page heading shows the topic.
- The status bar displays your location in the course.
Course Topics
Viewing the Course Topics Press C or click Course Topics on the Tools page to view the topics window. The
topics are organized by lesson. Click a topic in the list to view the topic in the course.
Press Ctrl + F to search for a topic in the list. You can minimize the topics window so that you can refer to it at any time.
Using the Keyboard
In addition to using your mouse, you can also use keyboards to navigate through the course, answer questions, and take the Skill Assessment.
Press K to display a shortcut menu showing all the keyboard shortcuts available in the course.
Master Topics
From the Tools page, click Master Topics to view the Master Topics window, which displays the topics for every course available to you.
In the Master Topics window, click a course name in the upper window to display its topics below.
You can resize or minimize the Master Topics window so that you can refer to it at any time.
Searching the Courses
Press R or click Search on the Tools page to open the search window, from which you can search all courses available to you. You can also include synonyms in your search.
You can minimize the search window so that you can search at any time.
Detailed instructions for searching the courses are displayed when you first open the search window.
