This series is designed to help users prepare for Microsoft Access 2000 MOS certification. It shows how to create, plan, and modify databases and tables in Access 2000. It also covers sorting and filtering, creating queries, forms and reports, and advanced tasks such as saving Access objects as Web pages, importing data, and adding hyperlinks.

This series is for anyone preparing for the MOS Access 2000 Core certification exam. This online course contains 8 lessons and should take approximately 22 hours to complete.

Creating Databases

This course shows users how to plan and create a database in Access 2000 and teaches you how to identify appropriate input and output for a database, plan a database, create a database with and without the wizard, and select and print database objects.

Building Tables

This course shows users how to create and populate database tables in Access 2000 and teaches you how to explain the structure of a table, the data types used in the table, and the function of primary keys, create a table using the wizard, and enter records into the table through a form or datasheet.

Modifying Tables

This course shows users how to edit table data, table structure, and field properties in Access 2000 and teaches you how to insert and delete records and fields, modify the appearance and structure of the table in Design View, change the size, format, and default value of fields, and use the Lookup and Input Mask wizards.

Sorting and Filtering

Advanced Tasks
